Dear Mr. President,
MY OPEN LETTER TO THE PRESIDENT OF RUSSIA
I am writing this letter as a result of the decision of the Ministry of Justice in Russia filling a claim with the supreme court of the Russian federation seeking “to declare the religious organization, the administrative center of Jehovah’s Witnesses, extremist, ban its activity, and liquidate it”
Mr. President as a blogger I went out for my field work, using Nigeria as a case study. Lagos and Ibadan were used for my research work. Mr. President here are my reports.
Adewumi (student)
“Jehovah’s witnesses are good people, please don’t ban them.”
Mr. Samson (Farmer)
“Please Mr. President, I am on my knee, please don’t ban them. When I was sick one of them gave me life”
Mrs. Ajebo (Trader)
“ I don’t know how to read they taught me how to read with door to door education.”
Mr. frank (fisherman)
“They live around me, they give my food any time I don’t have money”
Mr. jeff
“Mr. Presidents please don’t ban them. They are all in love; please Mr. President banning them will affect us. When someone’s family is in problem anywhere in the world, others will not be happy and we want everyone to be happy.
Mr. President I humbly present my report.
The activity of Jehovah’s witnesses and the publications that they produce encourage love of God and ne ighbors, love for family, and respect for government. There is absolutely nothing “extremist” or criminal in such Bible-based publication.
Mr. President I would be very happy if my letter is been considered.
Yours Faithfully,
